The term is "Heard Management"
It a very painful lesson, but one I had to learn many years ago. It applies
not
only to temperament, but also health issues as well. Do you pour thousands of
dollars into one animal when the money can be spent to save so many more?

That's what I was trying to say, Deb, and you said it better. Somewhere, I
think, there has to be an understanding that in order to save more, some must
not be saved.
