Hey folks...........
This is not hard..........
Anything west of Eagle, Wisconsin *is* West.
I am in the Mid-West Region.
If I go west of the Mid-West, then it is West.
Jim Rau, the GSDCA and Ferdinand Magellan say so.
Because Ferdinand's crew circumnavigated the Earth and proved it was round.
( Ferdinand Magellan named the Ocean west of Oregon, Washington, and
California "The Pacific Ocean" because he thought it was "still".)
Magellan was sailing and traveling West.
And Jack named a German Shepherd Dog after him.
What's the matter with you guys??
Just because I worried that I would need to cross the Rockies again to get to
Utah ...............and because I was stupid enough to get off the Interstate
in the Rocky Mountains...........it doesn't mean I don't know which way West
is ..........

Rest assured Jane that you'll be driving the flatlands of Iowa and Nebraska
to get to Ft. Collins from Wisconsin. The Rockies will be looming to the west
of you. There is a great feeling to be driving through the plains and see the
first glimpse of the mountains. As for Colorado being in the midwest...cannot
imagine that designation. Colorado is west--ask a native.
