You said that you could not be paid to have him & that he should have been put to sleep because he was so horrible. Above, one of the things that you say "There are dogs out there that can barely WALK let alone WORK, but as long as >the almighty side gait remains "efficient and effortless...." Also you say >"Ask >yourself really and truly how many of our dogs, German and American >showlines, could go back to fulltime herding full flocks of >sheep". Are you saying that a dog with efficient and effortless movement cannot herd? Well, Legend and many other American Conformation dogs can herd, are very good at it & LOVE working at it. Also, a beautiful, angulated son of his IS a full time herding worker on sheep and ducks for a well known herding judge/trainer's flocks facility. Your opinion that every one is blind if they think these American bred conformation dogs should be allowed to work, show & be bred. These statements - on an conformation list - are a little insulting to us that feel our dogs are beautiful and functional! BTW - Legend was not only a well know conformation dog but he also had titles in herding, obedience, rally - he had his temperament certification, was OFA - and was a registered therapy dog. You have the right to have your opinion but to make blanket statements about our dogs is not necessary. this too is JMO, Sandy Sandra Kozub KcK Kennels http://iweb.tntech.edu/rkozub/kennel.htm ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2008.
