Design of the shell for an existing camera body. So - where is the entity "Zeiss Ikon"? Where is the engineering, the manufacturing, the service - and where will it be if the current ZI rangefinder model is not seen as profitable any more? Remember - the old Zeiss Ikon was a world leeader in designing (as in "technical design", not 133t "Porsche" external design) for much of the fifty years of its existence. The new ZI is OEM'ing an existing camera. >This camera allowed CZ to build some lenses they could not make due to >a lack of a right platform. I wasn't talking about the camera. hauke -- "It's never straight up and down" (DEVO) --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
