I think that the book _Photo Equipment You Can Make_ by Peterson
Photographic has designs for a DIY drymount press. My library has a
copy. It would be a fair amount of work. I'm glad bought my Seal 210 a
number of years ago. The price has really gone up, although there is
quite a variation from retailer to retailer.
