DEAR DANA,

In the past I used those small, electric water distillers but they were a pain to clean (due to the rapid build up of calcium carbonate from our water) and drank mucho electricity.  And they never lasted more than a year before burning out.  Do you think the Zerowater would work for me?

I'm certain the Zerowater filter will work for you - the question I'd have is
the economy of commercial distilled water vs the filters in your case, which
is dependent on your water TDS. In my case, with water TDS of ~180ppm, I
estimated Zerowater filters are perhaps 40% the cost of distilled water jugs
at the store. Since then Zerowater offers larger bulk packs of filters that will
bring that down a bit more.

You'll want to check out the costs of the filters in the island paradise there
:-)

Cheers,
