The only testing I’ve done so far was to boil a sample to dryness. There was no 
perceptible residue.

I moved house, and found I was not in love with the results from the water 
in the new house. At this point when I’m being careful, I use water from the 
clothes drier which has been condensed, and I run it through a paper coffee 
filter to remove particulates.
It seems to work for me.
