I use a immersion blender to mix chemistry. I paid like $5 for it in a garage sale last year. Doesn't seem to add much air to the mix.

Magnetic stirrers are quite usefull. The heated ones given the range of temperatures we tend to need in our applications less so.
For mixing larger quantities of final solutions a paddle attached to a battery operated drill (basically what Jobo sells als the Chemix) is also quite usefull.
