Peter,
Turn off the light.
Open the little red tab.
Cut your small chamfers on the leading corners of the films.
Gently reverse-curl the leading edge of the films.
Feed the first one in and run it until it cannot load any farther.
Give the reel a jiggle to settle the film.
Close the red tab.
Feed in the second film and load it until the trailing edge just slips
into the reel.
Onto the center pipe, into the tank, snap on the lid.
Turn on the light.
At this point it is optional to step on the empty plastic reel with bare
feet and hop round the darkroom howling. I like to do it as it makes sort of
a festive atmosphere.
