Do you cool your house with a swamp cooler?  If so how close is the vent to
where you load your film onto to reels?  Just a thought?

After the recent discussion on water spots on 35 mm (but not 120), I
was dismayed to see spots on my film from my trip to San Francisco
shot with my 1940's Voigtländer. Then, on closer inspection, I
didn't see the "water spots" under reflected light, but rather as

areas of increased density within the grey bits of the image. I
tried washing with (a lot!) distilled water, but they were still
there. I would appreciate the input from the collective wisdom of
this group. A sample is at:

Randumb details: Bergger film @ ASA 200, developed in Xtol 1:1 @ 20C
for 11.5 min, washed with tap water (here, it's somewhat hard, to be
kind, but the Navy used seawater), then a 2' soak in distilled H2O,
and 1 min in same with a drop of photoflow in 1 liter.

Thanks for taking a look and sharing your insights!
