To find sulfur dioxide, just take a deep breath in any major city! LOL!!!

All seriousness aside, it is easy to make sulfur dioxide from this:

7&y=12> &x=17&y=12

To find diethanolamine look here:

Yes, it is hard to find some of the proprietary Kodak dev ingredients but,
though they are often expensive, they can be found.

Some of the chemicals used in the Kodak patent were made by Kodak
specifically for HC-110. For example the addition product of diethanolamine
and sulfur dioxide. AFAIK and they are not commercially available.

You might need to order if from UK and stock up:

http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/products/498/kodak-hc110-film-develo
per-1-litre

Or work from the formula in The Film Developing Cook Book which was derived
from the patent. You might have a heck of a time finding and stocking some
of those more esoteric reagents in the formula.

I have been trying to restock my HC-110 (I have about 5 ounces left). While
I am not married to this developer, it works well for my film. But I find
"no longer available" and "not in stock; don't know when it will be"
messages on mail order retailers. Another chink in the film supply/process
world.
