It does say good or high, but you can get a number if you turn it up or
down. This isn't a technical db number...

I think the Recording Level should have the option of saying the
actual numeric values, so one could actually know you were at -5 DB
or 0 DB, for instance--instead of "Good" or "Hight".  A choice should
be given as to which designations you desire.
