i dont think the game supports animated textures, BUT

i think i have an idea for this - and please im just talking outloud here so
if i make a mistake or if there's a tech problem with this, please let me
know.

lets say you wanted to have two images that you wanted to change, couldn't
you set up two identical objects in the same spot but with two different
textures and just alternate between which one is visible through alpha or
resizing/moving in the model animation process?

itd be a quick way to fake it
