Cristy,
    A link to a zip file should be no different than one for any other file, 
except that the filename at the end of the link will be for the zip file. 
When clicked on, the link should ask you what you want to do with the file, 
just like it would for any other downloadable file.  I suspect that your OS 
is set up to handle them differently for some reason.  As an experiment, 
click on the link below and tell me what happens.  If it doesn't work the 
way it should, we'll focus on changing that behavior so it works properly.
