Jo Ann,
It sounds like your video card drivers are going south. Even if one
byte in one of the sypport files has become corrupted, it's often enough to
cause all sorts of strange errors, crashes, etc..

It also sounds like a really neat effect. :O)

Peace,

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- My Windows has blinds

I have had a problem a couple of times lately that I never heard anyone
mention. When I tell the computer to shut down, it starts normally and I get
the dark screen where it usually says It is now safe to turn off your
computer, but I don't get the message, just the black screen. If I press
ctrl alt delete, I get this picture on the screen, that looks just like
vertical blinds in black and yellow stripes. It even has the 3D effect that
makes it even more like blinds. I just have to hit the power switch to shut
down. Once I had this same thing happen when booting up. Anyone ever
experienced this?
