You do have to reboot before a few of the temp files that were 
being used
while cleanup was running can be deleted.

Downloaded the program, used it and it didn't help.  I tried to 
download his other program which tells you what is in the 
index.dat file but it wouldn't.

There are index.dat files in a lot of folders when I used 
explorer.exe to look at my files so I don't know which one might 
be causing this problem of my IE not clearing the cache on 
pages.

Like I said -- this only happens when I look at the page first 
before I update and upload the pages to my hosting server.

Would someone go to this page:

and tell me if they see a off white or purple background.
