Hard to believe she can figure out any of AOL but she
couldn't figure out something like Outlook Express - which
just plops your e-mail into your program - graphics, html
and all so she could see them, without any sort of
maneuvering or umteen steps. Or clicking on a button to
create a new mail or one button to forward (ok, 2 buttons
once she hits send) an e-mail. Do you know what program she
tried?

If you do go over there to try to help her, you might try
again to talk her in to another e-mail program. Maybe even
one of the ones that people here recommend. And write down
the steps for her - print them out - so she has a cheat
sheet to get her going. Memory can be a problem at that age
in some people, as can learning new things. Cheat Sheets
would help a lot.

This going to be something that has to be done by the person
with the
problem..
.........
I WILL make note and save this mail in case I
can come up with a solution she can handle. Would probably
take me going to
her and rummaging thru to find what is where etc .. a
Sherlock Holmes
thing.

Do appreciate your effort.
