I deleted my zonealarm, and then downloaded the latest zonealarm.
Well, now when I go to reboot my pc, it brings up the box, and I click ok.

It makes the sound like it is going to reboot. (So far so good.)

But then, another box comes up and says something like:
vsmon has caused an illegal operation

When I click ok to THAT box, most of the time it just hangs and does not
reboot, or if it does reboot, it does not fully reboot and I have to cold boot
to get it to go to windows... I don't think once it has let me reboot and it
actually worked!

I tried searching online for info about this, but they all mentioned it could
happen if you have this or that, and I don't have those things.

Today I deleted zonealarm, but reinstalled it using the same download as I had
before, and I have the same problem.

Help!

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
