Thank you for attempting to help me, Scott, but I am not familiar with
''UAC.'' I'm currently using XP Pro, SP 3.
W98 was my previous OS and the Headmouse worked perfectly although written
for W95. I followed your first instructions and it didn't fix the glitches.
Now I'd like to try disabling UAC, please.

ou should try XP's Windows 95 compatibility mode. If you're not
amiliar with it, RIGHT-click on the application icon, select
roperties, and go to the Compatibility tab. This works with
nstallers also. If you have Windows XP SP2 or newer, or Windows Vista
r Windows 7, you might need to disable UAC first.
