One thing to keep in mind is that they are about to start replacing the old
Pinto Creek Bridge on US 60 just west of Globe, so it would probably bee a good
idea to go the northern route via SR87 rather than the southern route via US60.
US60 will have many delays and possibly long detours at times.

Hi Terri,
I am available every night but am willing to give up my spot if someone else
wants it. Want to see the geology anyway now that I know what to look for.

Awesome day to everyone in PAS as long as it is a freebee event and with no
money exchange at all....
Park After DarkChristine Sadle wants to schedule 3 eventswith PAS for 2019 into
2020.I have looked, and the three dates she has chosenare currently open on the
PAS calendar.
Now i want to be sure I have enough scopes to coverthe events before I book
them.
Here are the details:
Here's the map on how to get to Tonto National Monument. This is a freebee
event, meaning you do itto enjoy the Dark Skies. No money is coming in from PAS
or Tonto Nat Monument to you.
Confirm you are able to do these dates by RSVP at the links provided. Please
note the time of the events and the set up time. Mike, you can attend as a
presenter, to any of these events you wish to, especially if it is requested by
Christa.... and Sam, if you prefer to be a presenter instead of a scope, make a
note of that in your RSVP...You can be either.
Address is: 26260 N AZ Hwy 188 Roosevelt AZ 85595
Nov 23 2019Event 7pm to 9pmSet up is 6pmRequesting 2-3 scopes
Jan 25 2020Event 6pm to 10pmSet up is 5pm2-3 scopesThis event will be a
celebration of our recent International Dark Sky Park designation. We would
like to invite PAS to offer telescope viewing, and set up any information about
the organizationMike if you attend this event, I will consider doing it as well
with the PAS table of handouts.
April 25 2020Event 8pm to 10pmSet up is 7pm2-3 scopes
Putting these events on the site. I have the Booking docs for all three events.
Since i don't have time to put the calendar links up,let's have mini signups
for these three dates in a reply email so i know we have enough scopes to cover
all three events. Please take a moment to reply if you wish to do one or all 3
of these events. The more scopes we send out there on the January date, the
better the promoting of PAS.
Terri, Event ManagerI'll get the links on line this next week.Have a super
weekend!
