They do have the central PVR. I have one, and other than a few little interface issues it works very well. It comes with a 160gig HD, which is fine for SD video but not enough for HD. The system sets up a little LAN in the house, with every set top box having an IP address. I miss the elegance and functionality of my Tivos, but having the centralized DVR and HD capabilities makes the trade-offs worth it.


The difference in image quality from DirecTV is amazing. It's like someone took the fog filter off the lens.

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org
- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
