You seem to have completely forgotten about TeleText. Services like
BelTel and others were doing a lot of what you say AOL 'pioneered' a
long time before them.

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
