Come now, John, The web is something that is a household term. Everyone knows
what it is. So what is so hard about writing the truth instead of confusing
matters by rewriting history?

The truth is, walled gardens existed before the WWW. And some new devices out
there today are fragmenting this wonderful Web, perhaps, to look more similar
to those pre-WWW walled gardens of yesteryear?

Honestly, I don't know how you can continue to object to something that is so
demonstrably factual. This isn't by any means a matter of being overly
pernsickety.
