I spent a few hours walking the dikes at the end of Royal this morning
finding good numbers of shorebirds including:

   2 Semipalmated Plover

  35 Killdeer

   1 Bairds Sandpiper

  60 Least Sandpiper

300 Western Sandpiper

180 Long-billed Dowitcher

   1 Short-billed Dowitcher

   2 Wilsons Snipe

  16 Greater Yellowlegs

Early signs of Fall included Golden & White-crowned Sparrows, Lincoln's
Sparrow, American Pipit and White-fronted Geese.
