I don’t know if an actual Sharp-tailed is still about at Fern Ridge, but photos 
of a bird reported yesterday as such (on eBird) show a Pectoral Sandpiper.

Randy, Courtney and I searched unsuccessfully for the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper at 
Fern Ridge this morning.  There were a handful of shorebirds north of Royal Ave 
including Pectoral, Western & Least Sandpipers, Greater Yellowlegs, Long-billed 
Dowitcher and Semipalmated Plover.  Surprising was an early WHITE-TAILED KITE.
