2. Both infomercials were done this morning and so funny and heartfelt
responses to Cheryl's question "How was your August"
3. Congratulations to Desmond and Family for being foster parents to a 17
year old girl from China.
4. 28 donations to the blood clinic 12 more to go to reach our goal.
4. SEPTEMBER 8th is our Annual Golf Tournament. 2 PM shotgun start, be in
your cart no later than 1:50 pm.
5. Speaking of Golf and prizes, Dave Manns is dismayed that only 17 of our
group donated prizes to our golf tournament. That is only 20% of our group!!
Our mission statement says To be an association of excellent business
leaders dedicated to the economic prosperity and well being of our
membership and our community. Dave says "This is our 6th annual golf
tournament in support of the food bank and we sure not living up to our
mission statement. For only 17 of us to donate prizes is just not looking
after the well being of our community". If we have 55 members, every member
should be able to bring in one foursome and at least one prize, I am sure we
all have three friends that would love to come out and support a worthwhile
cause such as this.
