4. SEPTEMBER 8th is our Annual Golf Tournament. If you are able to provide
prizes please bring in to the meetings. Save your team $40.00 by registering
early.
5. Comments I heard or did may have not hear correctly. From either Neil
Corless or Jerry Mugridge," I used to be a pole dancer!" (let your imaginations
run wild!) From Chris Murphy, "I used to be a lion tamer" From Debra Dotschkat
"I went to a memory clinic the other day and found out I don't have dementia".
I think I should go get checked now.
6. Our summer party is booked for July 18th at the Yacht Club. Sign up sheet
will be next week so you can let the social committee what kind of protein you
want and if you can bring a side.
7. Christmas Party November 28th, details to follow.
8. WE NEED MORE MEMBERS, PLEASE TRY AND BRING A GUEST OUT. If each of us
brought one member out this year our membership would be at 96, now wouldn't
that be great for the leads!! AND speaking of new members, remember whoever
brings in the most new members for the year get their dues paid for the
following year.
9. We are giving back to the community. Leah has sign up sheets for traffic
control and other duties you can get involved in.
10. Promotions Committee have some exciting new things happening, starting with
a membership directory which is awesome, keep an eye on our website and the
Westside Weekly for other good stuff. Check out our website www.okbe.ca and see
if your profile needs to be updated. If so, please contact Denise.
11. PLEASE LET GORD BROWN KNOW ASAP how many foursomes you are entering into
the Golf Tournament. We currently have 15 foursomes registered and need 15
more. Please ask three of your friends and enter a team.
12. If you are bringing out a guest, let Sarah know so she can be prepared and
talk to them so they and her are more informed.
13. Did I mention that we need foursomes for our golf tournament. Please pass
the names on to Gord Brown. If you are a hole sponsor then bring a team out
with you.
14. .Speaker Gifts: When it is your turn to speak, you are expected to bring a
speakers gift. If you forget GOOD NEWS there will be $20.00 gift cards at the
meeting so you can purchase them for your prize giveaway.
15. Why is that every meeting someone always spills their coffee? Maybe John
Hudson knows the answer?
16. Total referrals for the first 5 months 1309!! pretty good at an average of
261 per month.
If you are making announcements and would like them included in the top things,
please come and give me the information. Sometimes people are talking and I
cannot hear what you are saying.
