Rex. Inside PowerPoint, go to the Help menu and select "About Microsoft
PowerPoint". That will tell you the exact version you have. If it IS
PowerPoint 2002, most of these tutorials will be unclear to you since
PowerPoint 2002, in my opinion, is the one program in Office XP that has
GREATLY changed.

Also, I believe one of the reasons PowerPoint is so baffling to you is
it's a multimedia program, which means it's almost solely a visual kind
of program. I can only imagine how that concept could boggle the mind
of someone who can't see.

Okay, thanks a lot. Yeah, I'm sure that no matter what version the
PowerPoint, the basics will apply for now.
I'm like a babe in the woods raised by other babes in the woods when it
comes to office applications.

Until June, I used a Jaws demo, and wordpad on the computer I was using
wouldn't work, so it was either notepad or HJpad, and neither of those
even
come close to offering the stuff that Office offers.

I had to play catchup a great deal when I got this computer because so
many
things weren't loaded on the old system running 98 SE because there just
wasn't memory.
Now I've got enough memory and am running XP and it opened new doors for
me.

I've finally gotten to the point that I have less disagreement with xp
than
I did, and I'm wanting to get into this stuff that I haven't had the
pleasure and opportunity to learn.

Rex
