Yup, that was the reason for doing this pps to exe conversion. A lot of users object to being forced to have to dl and install a viewer to see a pps sent to them. Depending on how complex your show has to be, I offer an easier, simpler alternative to Powerpoint that suits many people. A completely stand alone slide presentation that requires no install. Check out VixLifetips to give you a basic idea, if you want. http://www.angelfire.com/on3/vxdoin2/VxLifetips.html I make these for people for as little as $20. They send me their images, text, music, whatever. I can embed links too. vic Lock and hide folders with maximum ease and security. http://personal-computer-tutor.com/lh/lockhide.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rex Leslie Howard Jr." <hbk@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, September 28, 2002 4:50 PM Subject: [mso] Re: powerpoint and a note for Vic > > I wouldn't have downloaded the viewer anyway because I just don't like > downloading things.
