Hey, my hair was only slightly singed, and I think it may have fixed the
split ends. I've been quiet because I actually went and looked up how to
do styles. As an old typesetter and type spec'er, I thought I could skip
the instructions, but styles are one of the few things in Word which does
not allow you to blunder your way into the knowledge. Even though the old
Varitype and Compugraphic typesetting machines were computers, the DOS
programming followed typesetting logic, probably because of the
command-driven nature of it.
