BOTH things scared the cr*p out of me, too. But then, I got my feet wet and
realized how powerful styles and VBA really are. I'm doing things now that
I could never find a solution for before. Granted, both have a fairly large
learning curve, but in my opinion, it's well worth the time now to save
ample time in the future.

I think I answered my own question about styles - it appears to only be
happening when I paste text in (which I do frequently) from other programs,
such as Dreamweaver. I guess my answer is to Paste Special .
