[mso] Re: Word 03 and Styles

...not fear...of work, fear of screwing something up. I set up styles
in a book (720 pages) that the author somehow accidentally changed
before sending it to proof. Chapter heads came out 8 points, italic,
centered, Times New Roman when they should have been 18 points, bold,
left aligned, Garamond. Fortunately we were able to correct it before it
went to press but that COULD have been a VERY EXPENSIVE nightmare. VB
is worse because it DOES STUFF. Most of us little folk have no idea how
to make it do the RIGHT stuff or stop it or correct it if something goes
awry. Just thinking about it I'm quaking in my sneakers. Whew...gotta
have a drink NOW! :) /g

Sometimes we fear nothing without cause and other times we blindly face
the most fearsome things. Styles and VBA, mere innocents, cause an
unjust amount of fear...of work.<g>

With thinking this clear, is coding really a good idea?"
