Maybe I'll check on both of those. They are Nvidia based chipsets
(motherboard instead of a card), and Logitech Mouseware software. Couldn't
hurt. Anyone know of a good video test program that might raise flags if
there are any issues with the video/motherboard? These aren't 'game' cards
so an intense 3d benchmark tool isn't required.

I've seen this happen several times here in the enterprise. When we see
something that is hardware/driver related, we'll see it on a lot of machines
at once (because there are so few variations on the hardware in our
offices). On the hardware sets we have, resolution for this has come from
two avenues: 1. Update video drivers (Seems to have been more common on
Nvidia
chipsets)
2. Get the latest Intellipoint drivers from MS (if you're using Intellipoint
hardware)
