Whenever I launch my Outlook program it automatically checks for email. But
I have it set to always ask for a password, so first it checks for email and
then gives me an error message. Then I have to click SEND/RECEIVE again
and it lets me enter my password.

Is there a way to turn off that first automatic email checking when I open
the Outlook program?
