Linda,

I made a mistake in stating I had OL2002. I have OL 2K on WinXp Home.

I tried what you suggested. I still couldn't get it to open. So I uninstalled
and did a reinstall. I would like to apply the patches. Any suggestions? Do I
need to turn off my antivirus on before installation?

I've tried installing the patches twice, I got this error message

Error 1328. Error apply patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT61B.tmp. It has
probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this
patch. or more information contact your patch vendor.

Cancel Retry Ignore

I choose to ignore. That was probably a mistake.

Please help if you can.

TIA,

P.

Try going into the Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, find Microsoft
Office
in the list, and choose to Repair it

This is the same as running Detect and Repair from the Help menu, but
when
you can't get into the program, you have to do it from this back door,
so to
speak.

If this doesn't fix it, search your hard drive for scanpst.exe ... This
is
the Inbox Repair file....try repairing you pst file.
