[mso] Office XP Developer

Help, please, anyone who has installed Office XP Developer.
I am trying to install Microsoft Office XP Developer. It runs through a
quick check for compatibility, and gives me this message:
Windows Component Update
Setup has detected that some of the Windows components that
are installed on your computer do not match the version
required for Office XP Developer. You must install a different
version of these Windows Components.
Okayyy, I currently have Microsoft Office 2000 installed on the machine. I
was advised +not+ to uninstall it, but to allow the Developer version to
write over/upgrade over the Office 2000 version.
My Microsoft Office XP Developer is a full version.
My Microsoft Office 2000 is also a full version.
If I indicate that I want to install the Component Update, it asks me for a
Component Disk (Could that be a a CD? If so, which one? I have seven of
them in the Developer package.). How/where do I obtain a Component Disk?
The Developer package was not cheap!
