Hi Tony / Clif Can anyone let me have a date for next years Harrogate Show I am hoping to spend some time in Yorkshire next spring and it would be good to be able to take in the show while I'm there. I will be travelling up from Poole in Dorset and can confirm that it was a tad wet last week. While you were down here did you call in on the Bournemouth ME society track at Littledown? I am interested in the comments about the Donnington show, it is a long way to go from Dorset but three of us made the effort and enjoyed our day. I agree there seemed to be fewer models on display this year but I still found plenty to look at. We visited on the last day and the show closed at 4pm but by 3 O clock some of the stands were well on their way to being dismantled. I know many of the trades people have a lot of work to do before they are on their way home but as a member of the paying public I think it reasonable for the show to be fully open until the closing time. You must let me know when you are going, so that I can look out for you! By the way, I have just come back (to Leeds) from a week in Dorset, and it rained like mad there too! My car did not exactly float away like those at Boscastle, but I am sure it tried once or twice!
