I am not sure about all Macs since I am new to this, and please correct anyone if I am wrong, but in all the new Macs there is the possibility of running windows and mac. I am running both. Of course the windows I have to run it with Jaws, but I have not tried the open book or any other scanning software yet.

So I think the good is that with Mac you can get the best of both worlds.
Now if Mac could have the voiceover be also in other languages it would be awesome. Because the only real thing that tides me with Jaws big time is the fact I can use about 4 extra language for emails imporving my skills specially in a job setting. As far as I know there is no options for other voiceover language,s right?

Hope this info helps if you want to decide in what to do for your next computer!
Rachel.

EEEEEW, sounds tricky.

I had thought about just switching to the Mac platform, but it's sounding
like it's handy to retain the option of running windows.
Cheers,
Donna

installing msp with a Mac is not easy because you need to get the cab
file
out of the executable. I saw somewhere a fix for this from codefactory
though.

Hey Shane!

Thanks for the welcome! Just curious--and maybe this should happen off
list--what is the process for installing MSP with a Mac?
Thanks,
Donna
