When you go through the mail wizard it says it is testing the connection to the out-going smtp server but that one always gives an error that it could not connect or whatever. The pop server seems to work fine.

Mail gives you all of what you want. the screen reader devellopers did agood job on outlook express I agree but once you use mac mail for a while,you'll never look back.
