The advice I got, when I switched back to the Mac, forget everything I ever thought about Windows and Windows screenreaders because it would confuse me and I wouldn't be nearly as objective. While I was familiar with some of the Mac/Apple command structure (which helped me make the switch) I had to get comfortable with it again.
