I'm glad you wrote "so-called" because that's not their agenda at all.
That's just the sugar-coating they sold to their ignorant public.
(Americans do love their junk food.) But you're right. Logic without
heart is no good either. Star trek exemplifies this, of course. It
was always Kirk's middle way which won the day. Spock was too logical.
Bones was too emotional. Speaking of Star Trek, isn't it curious that
in the 60s, we had Mr. Spock trying to erase everything human (and
therefore flawed) from his makeup. And then in the 80s, we had Data
trying to become human.
