Well, if you saw what those assistants in Leeds generally looked like 
then...yet why forced to resign? One don at my college had sex with each of the 
three females who got Firsts one year, in the same evening. Not a dickie-bird 
of reproach. Nor for the law prof prosecuted for importuning or cottaging. Then 
there was Bowra and the old-style bachelor dons. Leeds eh? Narrow-minded 
provincial set.
