THE FAMILY REUNION
Come, you men, we must talk.
Something must be done.
Systemic change is required.
A new paradigm designed.
A shift in the locus of power.
A redeployment of our resources.
We must act now.
Do what must be done.
Linda sat at the table where the women were,
with her nail she broke open a sprig of spearmint,
sniffed it, smelled a scent
four billion years in the birthing.
Such sorrow then she felt for men.
