" ck: It's okay. Belongs to the same category as Simone Signoret's final film, _Madame Rosa_, and Marcello's final few, in which the old guy is erotically obsessed by a dwarf who leaves him for the circus. Actually, Marcello's effort is the most original by far. There's a platonic ideal of a script about an old person inspiring a youth, apparently. Sean Connery's "Finding Forrester" was in this mold, though not nearly as moldy as usual. On the brightest side of Ibrahim, Omar S. went on the talk circuit a bit, and gave interviews for the first time in years. He's been living in a grand hotel in Paris, gratis. The hotel considers his very presence--an elegant one, to be sure--an asset worth supporting. Carol
