And I repeat the question: where might this stop?
Would you advocate the vaporisation of a wayward muslim teenager who swears
to his friends he's going to kill an infidel? Would you advocate the
vaporisation of the son of an already vaporised terrorist on the grounds
that one day he will seek revenge. (Pre-emptive vaporisation.) Would you
advocate the vaporisation of ETA members who had a hand in the recent
bombing of Madrid Airport? Would you advocate the vaporisation of ex-IRA
members?

Eric, that's one sentence away from genocide. How do you determine who will
carry out terrorist attacks? By their religion?
Think it through.

I thought I was reasonably clear on this. Al-Qaeda has
issued a fatwa against Americans. In 2002, all US citizens
were put on notice -- as is traditional with holy war -- to
either convert to Islam or die.
Also in 2002, Bin Laden got a fatwa from some Saudi nutjob
cleric, authorizing the use of nuclear weapons in his jihad
against us.
It's appropriate to be angry about this and to seek to
exterminate those who would carry out terror attacks. It's also
appropriate to remind people that combat is not over just because we want
it to be over.
