Do you really need the .dis file? The display opcode is intended to 
accommodate different mappings of characters and dot patterns than you 
have in your character-definition opcodes. These opcodes should show the 
maping that is ordinarily used in your country. Some translation tables, 
such as the en-us-*.ctb set do not use the display opcode at all. A lot 
of tables do, but it is unnecessary.
