A few months back, Costco closed its photo department, in nearby Kamloops.
Now, I read that Costco is closing its photo departments in all their stores,
citing lower and lower print volumes.
I've had a couple of orders filled by Costco, with the prints coming by mail.
Ordering on-line will continue to be available.
What I noticed, was that the prints did not come from the Vancouver BC firm
that has run all of Costco's photo centers. My prints have come direct from
FujiFilm in Toronto and I'm sure that will continue, too.
For those who use Costco, the prints direct from Fuji were perfect.
But, it is a sign of the times.
