Went to Clapp Park this evening. There were lots of people taking pictures, so
the arboretum side was slow. There were some great birds in the playa including
a spotted sandpiper, solitary sandpiper, snowy egret, white-faced ibis,
black-crowned night-heron, and black-necked stilts. The water is drying up, I
don't know how much longer waterfowl and shorebirds will be here unless we get
some rain.
