I was out at Clapp this morning. Very similar results only with two
red-shouldered hawks.

Not much songbird activity at Clapp early this afternoon. One Mockingbird,
one flock of Yellowrumps (20+/-5, moving back and forth from the conifers and
the path between the ponds) one little brown job in the cattails, and some
flyover blackbirds. Might have something to do with the Sharp-shinned Hawk.
One Great Blue Heron, and one Snowy Egret joined the previously reported
American Bittern (same location, sat pretty tight and didn’t flush until I
was past it, really wanted to see it sitting, but no joy today on that
count). Ducks included Wigeons, Gadwalls, Shovelers, and Mallards, and one
each Green-winged Teal and female Redhead. Lots of coots and a handful of
Pied-billed Grebes were there. 30ish Sandhill Cranes flew over.
