Gerry's suggestion to cure this works rather well - use the zoom control to
zoom in. I found with a zoom of 300% I could spot the markers from far enough
out to line up, and by then using any appropriate trees, buildings or
whatever to gauge the approach line, and then switching back to normal zoom, I
could get it close enough to come in about right.
